The Line Up

Five little pumpkins sitting in a row
The first one says "Why can't I go?"
The second one says "We're in a line-up"
The third one says "Think of who made me up"
The fourth one says "Post a comment with your vote"
The fifth one says "Or send my Mom a note"
Ooh went the wind and out went the light
Come Halloween we'll tell you who is right.

Apparently

"Apparently, Clara doesn't know how to get on PBS kids."

"Apparently, I can't find . . ."

"Apparently I have to . . ."

" . . . and James apparently woke up."

Michigan

Too cute!
Lea and Estella

The petting area.

The crew at the entrance.

Lea at the Mall

Lea's favorite thing to play on in the play area. She spent most of her time their.

These are older pictures. I am going to change the date later so they are in the right place, but I for now I just wanted to share them.

Magic House

We took a trip to St. Louis to the temple and to see the cousins this weekend. We went to the Magic House Friday night. The kids had a ball. Here are some of their pictures.
Emma's friend Madeline, Emma and Marianne doing a news cast.
Lea climbing the bean stalk with Megan.

Clara and Haley's wild hair.

Clara, Lea and Haley in the Lewis and Clark room. The girls loved swinging on a rope across a ravine and crossing the bridges on the adventure trail.
Madeline, Emma and Jordan blowing giant bubbles.

3 months already

James passed the 3 month mark on Monday. Since this is "calendar", here are a few of his recent accomplishments.
He likes to blow raspberries. He has discovered his hands. I have only caught him looking at them once but he is starting to bat at toys and grabs whatever he can reach: hair, blankets, clothes, binki (he can even get that one back in sometimes), toys and even the pen that fell in the car seat. Fortunately he doesn't do anything with them yet, just holds on.
He likes to be where the action is. I think he rather likes all the noise and craziness of 4 big sisters. He will lay on the floor when the kids are home and playing around him, but not during the day by himself. He likes to be sitting or standing so he can see what is going on. He is still a cuddly boy but if you hold him up against you when he's awake, he does a 180 with his head so he can see.
He has started sleeping through the night again. He was just starting to when he got sick. After getting up every couple hours for a few days, then 4-5 hours the last two weeks, and finally he has got back to just once between 5-6. Yesterday I had to wake him up at 6:15 because he hadn't got up yet and it was going to be 2 hours before I would have the time to feed him again. Fortunately that only happens on Thursdays when Emma goes early and Lea has preschool. Overall he is a great baby and of course we all love him. I will take a picture to add once he is up:).

Funny kids

I asked Marianne if she had homework to do tonight. She said "If I want a better grade, yeah."

Lea played Nursery with her friends today. She had 3 friends here. She got them out a bunch of toys and gave them a pretend snack.

It was very windy on Friday. It took James breathe away a few times and he gasped. Later after we were in the car he was still gasping. At first I wondered what was wrong, but then I figured out he was doing it for fun. He continued to gasp all weekend.

Lea

This is how Lea watches tv most of the time. I would have a headache after 2 seconds and how she process everything upside down I don't understand.

Monster Cookies

Lea saw an idea in a magazine yesterday for Monster Cupcakes. We'd already made the cookie dough so she spent the rest of the afternoon planning how she was going to make her "Cookie Monster".
