Happy Birthday

James is 2 and Marianne is 12!  Wow!  It doesn't seem that long ago that Marianne was the one turning 2.

James loved his Thomas presents.  His pillow case was a cape . . .He now uses it as a pillowcase and asks to wear his Thomas pj's he got from Grandma night and day.

The rain started just as Anthony got home.  We had to move the hunt indors.  Everyone still had fun

Lea is learning to ride without training wheels.  Of course, James wants to ride too.  We found other activities to distract him but only with a "hat" just like Lea.

We had fun yesterday dying eggs.  The girls were being silly and making lots of puns.  They kept saying things like "I'm dying!" and "Don't 'die' without me."

I told Anthony I was making spudnuts for FHE treat.  He asked what that was and I said Donut with Potatoes in them.  He imagined a donut with potato filling instead of cream or jelly.  Needless to say he was rather hestitant to try them and surprized that they actually tasted good!

Beauty and the Beast

Here are some pictures and videos from the play. Emma did great and has mixed emotions that it is ended.  Happy to have some more time at home (3p-8p practices for 7 weeks) but going to miss the people and performing.  She had some friends from Kansas City come down to see her as well as some kids from the ward.  It was good to see them all. The first video is Human Again.  She has a solo in the middle of the song.  In case you can't tell in the video she is the brown closet with white hair :).  Sorry about the poor taping.  I didn't know how to find the video button in the dark on Human Again so I missed the beginning.  The second one is the final song.  I was ready for it that time and she was saying her lines and was almost done when I realized I should have been recording that too instead just holding the camera;).

p.s.  It took a really long time to load the video so I'll put the next one in a separate post.
