And they're off!

Another school year has begun.  The girls were all excited about going back to school and James was sad.  He misses them while they are gone.  Clara  and Lea are both enjoying their teachers.  Marianne is having fun with cross-country, band and choir. Emma is adjusting to a new year and having to make friends again.  Most her classes are with different kids this year. Since we never remember to take pictures on the first day of school, we took them a few days before:).  Marianne's was before her trip to Utah (she missed the first two days of school too).

Fellow's Lake

We took a bike ride to fellow's Lake one day when it wasn't too hot.  Everyone did great (including Lea).

Girls Camp

 Campfire s'mores.  I introduced them to peanut butter s'mores.  Everyone who tried them loved 'em.

Marianne, Emma and I all went to Girls Camp this year.  It was great fun for everyone.

Happy Birthday

James is 2 and Marianne is 12!  Wow!  It doesn't seem that long ago that Marianne was the one turning 2.

James loved his Thomas presents.  His pillow case was a cape . . .He now uses it as a pillowcase and asks to wear his Thomas pj's he got from Grandma night and day.

The rain started just as Anthony got home.  We had to move the hunt indors.  Everyone still had fun

Hats

Lea is learning to ride without training wheels.  Of course, James wants to ride too.  We found other activities to distract him but only with a "hat" just like Lea.
