Grandpa Arol

We had a fun visit with Grandpa Arol, Uncle Gaylen and Aunt Teresa.  Of course I didn't take any pictures.    James had a great time playing pirates with Uncle Gaylen and I enjoyed our country drive with Mom M and Teresa and even survived the Amish Auction.  James  loved all the horses and buggies.  Mom took some pictures on Saturday before they went home and I'll post them when I get them.

Show Chior

Emma in her show choir concert last week.  This week they went to contest and received a 1 rating for both show choir and concert choir.  :)

Spring Break

James in the rocks at Grandma's.  Their "rock box" is a big hit.

Haley and Clara mowing the lawn.

We had a fun week with the Spriggs and Grandma and Grandpa.  I only have a couple of pictures.  The kids enjoyed playing together outside when the weather was nice enough and swimming inside when it wasn't.

Conference Hunt

We put little pieces of paper with things we learned in conference in the eggs and had a hunt after conference.  Here's a few pictures.

The Book of Mormon

We made a family goal to read the Book of Mormon individually this year.  Lea had been asking for a while if she could read the real Book of Mormon instead of the reader.  I have read it with her at night.  Sometimes I just read, some times she reads.  I have wondered a few times if she was understanding what we were reading.   Sometimes I explain when I read to her.  This morning she was reading herself and said, "Do we have a movie about where Ammon goes to find the people of Zeniff?  I would like to watch it if we do."  I guess that answers my question.

1st grade concert

Lea had her first grade concert this week.  The sang Mother Goose songs.  Sorry the picture is a bit fuzzy.  She is the girl next to the one shielding her eyes to find her family.  Lea kept looking for us, using her hands as binoculars.  She said she found Grandma and Grandpa.

Happy Birthday Dad

Thanks to the girls for making Dad's cake, getting everything ready, Dad for making his own birthday dinner, and James for blowing out the candles.  He said it was his birthday and now he tells everyone he is three.  Coincidence??
