an asuming mom
(this blog post is written by emma, therefore you may recieve a skewed perspective) So...randomly one day, my mom calls all us girls into the garage with a serious look on her face and says who opened the starburst package? The package had been opened and shoved into the shot back hole. We concluded James did the shoving up the vaccum, but we didn't know who had gotten them down where "James" could reach. And of course no one but me knew where the starburst where, making me a prime suspect, right? Wrong!!! You see, I had discovered the starburst one evening while packing my lunch, so I went and asked Mom if I could take two....any way point is I didn't take them. So after Mom interogated us all, she says okay, we don't know who's lying but we won't go swimming until we know who opened them. So I call all the girls into the living room and ask them all( making them look me in the eyes) and say they didn't take them. And to me, it looked like they all where telling the truth. SO i went down to Mom and told her it wasn't any of us. So, we tried coming up with some alternative opitions. We came up with one, (this was our theory) I had accidently left them on a lower shelve when I took them back downstairs. Then Gracie pulled them off, bit a hole in the bag and scattered them everywhere. James then filled the shotback with them. So with this conclusion we continue with our lives. Then on Monday, Mom went to put some grocries on the shelve where the starbursts once resided, and the bag was still there. What REALLY happened, was that a mouse bit a hole in the bag and one by one carried them all down and shoved them into the shot back hole, storing them for winter....haha poor mouse, we destroyed his stash. :) We talked about it at FHE that night and talked about how it was good we were all honest. Good times, good times :) -Emma
